You may have seen my post on social media- it’s true: Printcess is for sale.
I’ve enjoyed it, but over the past 5 years my time has gotten more and more constrained, making it difficult for me to expand the business as I’d like to. I’ve had so many plans for Printcess, and purchased materials for things, and even created shades for future releases. But when it comes to having the time to promote the business as I should….I’ve failed. And after a year of doing very little for my business, it became apparent I needed to sell the business and close this chapter of my life.
But I love <insert favorite shadow here>!
While Printcess is up for sale, I’ll still be fulfilling orders. My hope is that whoever buys Printcess continues to provide excellent customer service, and you can get your favorite Printcess hues for years to come.
What if nobody buys Printcess?
If no one buys Printcess by November 1st, 2018, I’ll be dismantling it and selling it off piecemeal. At this point, whatever eyeshadows are sold out will remain sold out- I’ll be selling off the materials to make and package them, so I won’t be able to guarantee anything is in stock.
Why should I consider buying Printcess?
Since 2015, Printcess has turned a consistent profit. Since this time last year, I’ve had over 3,000 unique visitors to the Printcess Etsy shop and over 85 sales. Printcess has appeared in subscription boxes (HootLoot, Book Boyfriend Box, and more), and has 439 5-star Etsy reviews (as of writing this blog post). And that’s with me *not* being able to devote time to marketing and promotion. Imagine what it could be with someone who is more active on social media, local craft fairs, etc.!
I might be interested in buying Printcess….
Great! Please email me at email@example.com (or direct message me on Twitter or Facebook) if you’re interested. I’m happy to provide the long list of everything that comes with the purchase of Printcess (including recipes, materials, packaging, shipping supplies, business cards, this web domain and the Etsy shop, sales ledger, and more).
I don’t want to buy Printcess, but if you have any <insert raw materials here>, can I buy them?
As always, thanks for your patronage and support, your feedback, swatches and looks, and for letting me make the world a bit more colorful.
