Have you recovered from Halloween yet? Are you planning any dramatic evening looks? This may assist, though there’s an embarrassing story that goes along with it:
I was so excited to offer different colors, including neutrals, that I let my brainstorming run away with me. I toiled for AN ENTIRE DAY to make the exact shade of gunmetal grey for the Mystery collection. I wanted that not-quite-black, cold steel color you see on guns. Something smokey and sexy and all-around dangerous.
And I finally found the right combination to make it happen. I was so proud of myself for creating Trigger.
And then, a week after the collection released, it hit me. You know what makes that super dark grey color?
Applying it lightly.
You can’t get a light grey out of a black, but you can definitely get a dark grey.
Do you need more grey options in your eyeshadows? Or something crazy like a black with orange shimmer overlay? Let me know in the comments!
